Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex Updates and Changes for 2012
An Open Practice Session will be held on Saturday, March 24, from 2:00 - 5:00. Pit gates will open at 1:00 - admission is $20 in the pits. General Admission for the public is FREE. Pit Concessions will be open that day.
There has been a slight change in the schedule for the March 31-April 1 race weekend. ROADRUNNERS will only be running on Saturday. Previously, they were scheduled to run both days.
ATTENTION DRIVERS!
POINTS will begin on Saturday, April 7!
STREET STOCK DRIVERS: 10 inch RIMS will be used this year at Roaring Knob.
CHARGERS: Beginning on May 5, there will be a tire rule for the Charger Division. Hoosier Med 100s ONLY! No other compounds will be accepted. You will have a grace period during the month of April to make this change.
ROADRUNNERS and TRUCKS: RACECEIVERS will be mandatory at Roaring Knob for both divisions. You can purchase the radio on your own or contact Doug Horton at High Gear Speed Shop at 724-439-4600.
EMODS: This division will race on April 7, 14, and 28. A decision will be made at that time if there is enough interest to continue the division on a weekly basis at Roaring Knob.
ALL DRIVERS: Fuel will NOT be sold at Roaring Knob this year. Make sure to have all the fuel you will need each night when you get to the track.
